Take a look at the pictures below. In each, Oscar or Niamh are engaging in an activity. We will give you the correct verb, and we want you to tell us what is happening!

Oscar drinks coffee - The verb ‘drink’ is ‘Ól’

Niamh plays football - the verb ‘play’ is ‘Imir’

Niamh reads a book - the verb ‘read’ is ‘Léigh’

Try and construct these simple sentences in the correct order and tell us the in the comment section. For words such as ‘football’ and ‘coffee’ you may need to use teanglann.ie, but make sure to write your responses without looking at those of other learners!
