This step is a special one, created for learners who started after the official start date.
If you are commencing this week later than the specified start date, the 15th February, it is designed for you. We understand it can be difficult to find time to complete activities and as such, we wish to stress that all learners can and should move at a pace that works for them.
There are obvious advantages to keeping to the rhythm of the course schedule, such as:
- The opportunity to converse with other students who are engaging with the same material around the same time as yourself.
- More time for reviewing the weekly content at the end of the course, once you have completed the activities.
- Ability to pose questions for Oscar and Niamh to answer in their weekly FAQ video update. This will allow you to revise, review and reflect on what you have learned during the week so that you can plan your learning for the week ahead.
Naturally, these ideals cannot always be met, as the best-laid plans can often go astray and you might just have registered at a later date and thus started later than others. Either way, your comments will be heard and we will endeavour to answer as many course-based queries as possible.
We also do encourage other learners to contribute tips and suggestions they have that may help others as they learn. Learning a language at a distance is a remarkable pleasure, but it can also bring some unique challenges.
Our instructors will monitor these steps and provide assistance also, so make sure to let them know if you have any issues!
