Every week of the course, we aim to look to Ireland’s past to provide some words of wisdom to both introduce new terminology and to encourage you to continue. This week, we have chosen:
De réir a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin
This means that ‘it takes time to build castles’. We have added this to remind you that language learning is a long-term and time-consuming process. Like a castle, the results at the end are spectacular but it certainly does not happen overnight! We encourage you strongly to revise the material each week, to take some time to build Irish phrases into your life and to find ways to both practise and absorb, such as listening to Raidió na Gaeltachta, which can be done from any country in the world.
